If you know your user name and password, once you have logged in for the first time, you will need to set up an important feature; the destination of a temporary password, should you ever forget your password in the future.
Setting up the destination of the temporary password should only have to be done once. The website will prompt you to do this (either telling you not to lose access to your account or by asking for additional information) and you can choose to have the temporary password sent to an email account or your mobile via either text/SMS or voice. RANZCO recommends selecting your mobile phone as the destination as this is more immediate and, in some cases, emails don’t come through or will go to your junk mail. Once you select the destination, you’ll be sent a code (if you chose email, an email will be sent and if you chose mobile phone, either a text/SMS or voice call) and you’ll need to enter that code into the website. You’ll be redirected back to the RANZCO website when you’re finished and if the process took a few minutes, you might need to log in again.
